Fun Things to Do in Myrtle Beach, SC
1. The Beach
I'm not sure you could go to Myrtle Beach, and not visit the beach. It is absolutely gorgeous - and free to enjoy! Pick up some shells while you're there or just enjoy the beautiful view with the sand between your toes. Whatever you do, you won't be disappointed.
2. The Boardwalk
At no cost to you, enjoy a nice walk along the 1.2 mile boardwalk at Myrtle Beach. It's actually not too old either - with an official opening in May 2010. Unlike the other board walks on the East coast that have been around for years, you may not have gotten to take in the beauty of this one yet. But, it's not one that should be missed. With shops and sites along the way, there is plenty to see and do.
3. The EdVenture Children's Museum
So it isn't completely free, but it isn't outrageously priced either. Offering a ton of interactive fun for the family, children 2 and under can get in free here. They also offer a deal for all those who receive SNAP, Medicaid, or WIC benefits. If you can provide proof that you receive any of these then the price of admission is only $2 per person.
